akvarels
when applying watercolours in all ease of technique and handling, the painter is confronted first of all with the piece of paper itself as the greatest obstacle. Apart from the fear of the empty space- already choosing the ideal type of paper, touching its surface, checking its weight and granulate are of immanent importance for the implementation of an image-idea. During this first touch at some stage my hand grasped the image, I grabbed into the paper, the idea formed the pulp, it finally had transformed from the bi-dimensional aquarelle into the pulpskin, and I did feel comfortable when painting in this cloth. Hence I baptized the newly created paper-objects ‚akvarels‘.
